My Comments:

Interestingly, as I read and ponder, Sandy Gallagher's essential message, wittingly or unwittingly, draws upon what MIT systems scientist Dr Peter Senge has had talked back in the nineties about Learning Organisations or LOs.

Such LOs go beyond survival learning, to perform generative learning that enhances their capacity to create, using the five disciplines of organisational success.

One of those disciplines is Building Shared Vision.

With it, people excel and learn not because they have to but because they want to. Dr Senge wrote the classic then, The Fifth Discipline, which I would recommend all of you to read, for the other four disciplines are worth exploring.

Godspeed.
