Absolutely true!

Just as author-filmmaker-futurist Joel Arthur Barker puts it:

"A positive, inspiring vision is one thing all successful organizations have in common.

Having a positive vision of the future is the most forceful motivator for change… for success, that companies, schools, communities, nations, and individuals possess."!

To be fair, I must add that this is only part of the success story. 

The other vital part missing here is the opportunity recognition by Steve Jobs, followed by their marketing and innovation of assessing the opportunity, developing it and sustaining it as a viable and enduring commercial reality eventually. 

That's to say, the ultimate fire test of success came from the latter. 

This is not to imply that Steve Wozniak's humble beginning in the techno-wizardry wasn't important. 

Just as Tony Robbins (whose inspirational teachings and writings have had impacted me ever since the early nineties) puts it:

“Any time you sincerely want to make a change, the first thing you must do is to raise your standards.”

"Raise your standards for the one thing over which you have complete control- yourse lf.

It means you're committed to being intelligent, flexible, and creative enough to consistently find a way to look at your life in a fashion that makes any experience enriching."

"If you don't set a baseline standard for what you'll accept in life, you'll find it's easy to slip into behaviors and attitudes or a quality of life that's far below what you deserve."

This is actually Steve Jobs' original quote at his Commencement Address of Stanford University in 2007.

It's our passion that makes us crave for constant and never-ending improvement.

Also, it's our ardent love for our work that encourages us to keep doing what we do even if we encounter several challenges.

We don't let setbacks stop us from being successful.

More importantly, if we are to do great things, we must always be motivated to take bold initiatives!
