You can see the sheer joy on their faces as Dilip Mukerjea met up with an old friend, Vanda North, a long-time business associate of Tony Buzan.Dilip has told me that she was instrumental in spearheading the global network of mind-mapping instructors, in addition to teaching mental literacy programs, for Tony Buzan from 1989 to 2005.
Prior to that, she was President of the Society of Accelerated Learning & Teaching (or SALT) for two years. [SALT is the precursor to today's IAL (International Alliance for Learning)]
Today, she runs her own training & consulting outfit known as the Learning Consortium, based in Florida, USA. She enjoys coaching people with "learning differences".
Vanda North is also the author of a number of learning products, including 'Get Ahead!', 'Joy Journey' & 'Mind Chi' (with Richard Israel).
According to Vanda North, her purpose on this planet is "to remind people of - & return them to - their naturally joyous state.
Dilip & I believe she is definitely doing a great job!
