FROM DILIP MUKERJEA

"Genius is in-born, may it never be still-born."

"Oysters, irritated by grains of sand, give birth to pearls. Brains, irritated by curiosity, give birth to ideas."

"Brainpower is the bridge to the future; it is what transports you from wishful thinking to willful doing."

"Unless you keep learning & growing, the status quo has no status."

What Dilip Mukerjea has written in the preamble of his new book, CHARISMATIC CAREER COUNSELLING INSIGHTS ON CATALYSING POSITIVE PROSPECTS, is very interesting, as he shares this snippet:

"Everything you need to succeed is already inside you – just tap into your inner-power and make it happen."

He adds an elegant quote:

"The ferment and viability in any society is directly proportionate to the number of people actively living their ideas.

This is not positive thinking - it is positive action: the spirit of experiment."

- Marilyn Ferguson;

My comments:

I share Dilip's sentiment.

Each and every one of us is already naturally endowed with the six higher-order mental faculties, namely, Perception, Memory, Imagination, Reason, Will and Intuition.

It's actually up to us to tap on these faculties using our creative resourcefuness to come up with a game plan of putting our ideas to work!

Think and do like MacGyver!

I am just wondering how do these six departments of the mind dovetail with the six higher-order mental faculties (namely, Reason, Memory, Perceotion, Will, Intuition and Imagination) already naturally endowed in each and every one of us? To a great extent, they over-lap!:

The Structure of Your Mind
Your mind is divided into six departments which are subject to your conscious control. Understanding these departments helps you understand self-discipline.
The six departments are:
1. The ego. The source of willpower. It acts as a supreme court, with the power to reverse, modify, change, or eliminate the entire work of all the other departments.
2. Emotions. Here is generated the driving force which sets your thoughts, plans, and purposes into action.
3. Reason. This is where you weigh, eliminate, and properly evaluate the products of your imagination and emotions.
4. Imagination. This is where you create ideas, plans, and methods of attaining your desired ends.
5. Conscience. Here you test the moral justice of your thoughts, plans, and purposes.
6. The memory. This acts as the keeper of records of all your experiences and as a storehouse for all sense perceptions and inspiration from Infinite Intelligence.

Frankly, it's just one out of six higher order mental faculties (the other five are perception, memory, reason, will and intuition) which each and every one of us has already been naturally endowered since birth.

It's not just the gift, but our daily usage of them - consistent, determined and massive - that gives us the personal power.
