THE TRUE METHOD OF KNOWLEDGE IS EXPERIMENT
It makes sense, because only through
experimenting that one can get to know whether the idea would work or
wouldn't work.
If it had worked, fine for you; and if it didn't, then
you had a learning experience, especially if you could draw valuable
lessons from the failed experiment.
Cumulative experience then builds knowledge.
