MY FAVOURITE PICTURE FOR THE WEEK: FACE/OFF OR CHANGING FACES

The foregoing fascinating snapshots were taken at the front window display of Ted Baker's retail boutique in the Vivocity shopping mall last Saturday afternoon.

I was intrigued by the live-action head with its constantly changing alternate faces.

Somehow, it triggered analogical connections to the 1997's John Woo-directed fast-paced, action-packed crime thriller 'Face/Off' (starring John Travolta & Nicolas Cage) & 'Bian Lian' (變臉), a significant aspect of the famed Chinese Sichuan opera.
